In September 2008 AWAAIREBEAR was contacted by Adrian Chubb, Manager of Spacemaker, a self storage company at Cosham which led to a generous offer by them to allow AWAAIREBEAR to find temporary storage for 146 bears free of charge for a twelve month period.

Adrian when interviewed by Portsmouth News on 15 th November when the bears were moved in by the team is quoted as saying:

'Spacemaker Self Storage are happy to provide accommodation on a room only basis for 150 bears awaiting adoption'.

We are most grateful for such a generous and welcome offer and are pleased to include SPACEMAKER as a 'Friend of Awaaire Bear'.
